We would like to inform that on September 8, 2025, at the Katowice Generation Plant (Katowice Combined Heat and Power Plant), a 140 MW thermal gas-fired water boiler was commissioned.
We warmly congratulate the General Contractor of the project – Mostostal Warszawa SA – as well as the Investor – Tauron Ciepło SA – on their success, and we would like to express our gratitude for the trust placed in our company to carry out the commissioning of this project.
We hope that the newly commissioned project will improve heating comfort for the residents of Katowice and the surrounding areas. For the CHP plant itself, this substantial investment also brings benefits – reducing emissions from the peak-load source and providing greater operational flexibility during the winter peak heating demand.
